Getting Clear on Your Life

Well fall is here and it was been quite a summer here in Phoenix. I have really spent a lot of time in reflection of my life, what I want in my future, and how I want to show up. I completed my year long class and am now a certified Law of Attraction coach. What a journey it was.

This summer was filled with ups and downs but, that is life isn’t it? I was reading an article about getting clear on what you want in life. So I asked the questions “Who is Keith Young?” That one question got me digging so deeply into who I am, my past, and what I have intended to create in my future.

Several questions came to me and by answering them, I really stepped into a greater fullness of myself and what I want for the rest of my life.

I wrote down describing “What is the Fullness of Me”, and read it over and over. I could only describe the feeling and not what that looked like on a physical level for me. I am usually very visual and the fact that I could not connect with a picture of what I wanted to create was a different shift for me.

When I asked myself the following questions, I got really clear about my life and it really raised my vibration.

Ask yourself:

Who am I? Then decide who you want to be, how you want to show up, and what you want to experience in this life.

What do I want?
What do I think of me?
What do I like most about me?
What do I value?
How do I feel valuable?
Do I feel free?
Do I feel powerful?
Do I feel I am good?
Do I feel I am love?
Do I feel I have purpose?
Do I feel I have value?
Do I feel all is well?

My friend and coach Christy Whitman has this program called the Enlightened Kid program that  she created for children, and one of the beliefs is “I am good.

What would your life be like if you really felt that at the core of who you are is good or love?

All throughout my childhood I was told I couldn’t do much right and good. I could never please my mother no matter how hard I tried. I felt I was a bad son.

I was the oldest and it seemed like I was expected to carry the load for my brothers. I was angering people, because I stood up for myself. I always felt like I was different from my family and could not relate to their thinking, so I was labeled as a “pain in the ass.”

I have spent a lot of money over the last twenty years on therapy, coaching, healing, seminars, books, programs, etc. to shut down that voice that said I was bad and didn’t have the right to be happy.

Imagine if at the core of who you are, you really felt good. How would your life be different? Imagine a child who grows up knowing that he or she is good, powerful, loved, free. WOW!

So if you have kids, empower them to be creative and express themselves. Make them feel empowered as this will stay with them for the rest of their lives just like it did with my situation.

Do you feel powerful? If not it is time to change that no matter how you grew up. Now is the time to take control of your life. The first step is getting clear on your life so go through those questions above to get clear on who you are and what you want. Then it is time to put what you found out about yourself into action. This is also where a good coach can help you as well.

Imagine and enjoy,

Keith Young
