Week 21 Stepping into Greatness Lesson

How to Create your Perfect Day!


Every single person on this earth has the same number of hours in the day that they can work with. It doesn’t matter who you are, what color your skin is, how much money you have or don’t have, we all have the same 24 hours in a day.

Each individual can decide how to use their time every day. You can waste your days sleeping in, watching television, wishing for a better life, hating our jobs, etc. On the other hand we can spend most of the time that we have been given by creating a better life.

We can choose to create a better life devoted to improving ourselves as well as the lives of others around us and throughout the world. So the question is how do you want to spend your time?

You have the power within you to live each and every day exactly the way you want to live it. Think about that. The resources to create the life that you desire live within your own mind. Now I know there’s probably some that will disagree saying you cannot prevent bad things from happening to you. Each and every day at any given moment problems can arise within the day that you have to deal with.

The thing that I would tell you is that you are correct in saying that you cannot usually prevent bad things from happening to you as there are other people in the world that have an impact on your life. What you can do is choose how you react to those unforeseen problems that come up. We still have the choice to create something positive even out of something negative.

Don’t you think it’s time for you to take control and begin living the life of your dreams?

Now I know you’re probably saying of course that you want to live your dream life but you don’t know where to begin. How about that you start at the beginning which is this week’s action step below on how to map out your perfect day.

So why am I having you map out your perfect day? Because that is how we live our life one day at a time. Of course we want to have future goals in mind but we still have to live one day at a time. If we can live as close to our perfect day as possible every single day as our main goal each morning, then those days adds up to weeks and those weeks adds up to months and those months adds up to years and before you know what you are living your perfect ideal life.

The first thing to do is to realize that you have the power of having everything that you ever wanted exists within you already. Most people don’t use that power or know how to use that power. There is no other person on this earth who can do it for you. You have to do it. I would absolutely love to give you what you want simply by waving a magic wand. But the reality is I cannot do that for you. Only you have that capability. I can show you and teach you the door to living your dreams but you have to have the courage to walk through it.

The second thing is that you have to have a clear vision of what your perfect life looks like. That entails that you visualize and write down exactly what you want on a daily basis.

And third, you must believe that your perfect life WILL manifest itself and become your reality. I want you to remember, whether you believe something is possible or not, you are correct.

So set your goals. Ask yourself what do I want ideally? Then add your big why— why do I want this? When you asked those questions your subconscious mind will mysteriously supply the how.




Here is this week’s personal exercise:

Start to visualize your perfect day. This would be a day where I feel motivated, excited, exhilarated, joyful, healthy and completely focused.

Take out your journal or notebook and make a timeline of 24 hours, each line of paper should represent one hour of this perfect day. As an example, line 1 should be midnight to 1 AM. Line two should be 1 AM to 2 AM, etc. etc.

After you have created your timeline, then visualize what you would ideally be doing during each hour. Maybe from midnight to 1 AM you probably would be sleeping soundly during the week. Maybe on the weekend during that time you might be at a party or a nightclub.

How would you be spending the hour between 9 AM and 10 AM? Would you be at the gym working out or having breakfast with clients? What about 2 PM to 3 PM? Is this the time you will be picking up your kids from school or getting a relaxing massage?

Take each hour one at a time until you have created your perfect day. Once you have determined on how you want to spend your time, review your timeline often morning, noon, and night. This will be your future schedule, so you need to become familiar with it. Then believe that this is how you are going to be spending your time and it will become your reality. That is the power of visualization and your subconscious mind.

Remember, Life isn't about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself. It is time to create the best life possible!
