Week 42 Stepping into Greatness Lesson

3 Elements you are Engaged In

I consider Jay Abraham one of the greatest marketing and business strategy minds that is out there today. He has a unique way of giving you such a tremendous amount of idea in the span of about 30 seconds. So this week I am giving you one mountain that I know you’re going to find very helpful to create a more magnificent life for yourself.

Mr. Abraham has insisted that we gain the maximum leverage from every action and investment of time we ever make. It doesn’t matter what kind of business you run. You could be a global CEO of a company that sits at your desk in the highest skyscraper in New York or you can be a mom steering your kids from day-to-day.

What you should do is to find the three most important functions that you do and then find out six or seven sub- elements within those three. Then evaluate those key elements against just two items which is your true competency and your passion for those functions.

Going from just being okay to brilliant is a geometric type of move. Now going from brilliant to passionate and enraptured is a much higher level of performance. If you are spending all of your time managing accounts payable for your company and your the rainmaker for that company, you’re probably not operating at your most passionate and competent level.

You must then figure out a way to extricate yourself from this task and bring someone else in who can operate at a passionate level in that area. I know there is always a way to find someone to take on other functions to free you up for the highest and best use of your talents and time.

You should always look at your business, your hours, your opportunities and activities, and then your capital and energy investments through the screen of your highest and best use.

Here is this week’s personal exercise:

So for this week I would like you to chisel down to three most time-consuming functions that you are involved in.

Then chunk those three functions down even further into sub- element activities. Then hold those activities up against the real passion and competencies that you know is within yourself. This is a very revealing type of exercise.

You may find that one of your three most time-consuming functions may not be one of your passions. If that is the case then could you find someone to do that that may have a passion for that and could probably even do it better?

Just remember that you have greatness within you just waiting to be woke up.

Remember, Life isn't about finding yourself, life is about creating yourself. It is time to create the best life possible!

Until next week
